MISSION
This is a grassroots festival that celebrates the wide diversity of experience and talent within the trans and queer young filmmaking community both in front of as well as behind the camera. We are creating space for trans and queer artists to tell their own and appreciate others' stories without pressure to advocate for an entire community.
This year showcases 59 short films from 25 countries created by trans and queer youth. We are throwing an opening night party hosted by legendary drag performers Miz Diamond Wigfall and Muscles Monty . On Sunday 3 of our talented filmmakers joining us will for a talk back and meet and greet for with Special guest and icon of trans filmmaking, Raymond Rea.
Saturday and Sunday join us in the atrium an express your creativity and share your responses to the films by contributing to a hands-on digital zine project.
We are accepting donations of new or gently used binders, trans tape, menstrual products and nonperishable snacks to support local trans and queer youth in collaboration with NAGLY.
